I’m Neesa, an online Solution-Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, and lifelong OCD sufferer, from Bristol, UK.

I became a hypnotherapist to help people like me navigate the harsh realities of poor mental health, feel less alone, start to heal, and move forwards in a positive and meaningful way, be that reaching goals they’ve set or just feeling that little bit better day to day. I want to help you become your most unstoppable self, whatever that looks like to you!

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and how can it help me?

  • Solution-focused hypnotherapy is all about blending the power of talking therapy (psychotherapy) with clinical hypnosis (hypnotherapy). Bringing together the latest insights from neuroscience and solution-focused brief therapy to create a tailored, future-focused approach just for you.

  • In our online sessions, we keep things grounded in the present and focus on the path ahead, steering clear of dwelling on the past or getting stuck on the problem. Together, we work as a team toward your goals, one step at a time.

    Solution-focused hypnotherapy operates on a brief therapy model, meaning we're not in the business of dragging things out. Our approach is refreshingly straightforward and practical. We arm you with the tools and mindset necessary to confront stress, anxiety, and overwhelm head-on, ensuring you carry those skills with you for life.

    Most of the wonderful people I work with find that they typically need between 6 and 12 sessions, but it's entirely up to you. Whenever you're ready to take the next step forward, count on me to be right there, cheering you on!

  • Let's address the big question: what kind of hypnosis is involved? Well, rest assured, I won't be asking you to cluck like a chicken or do anything embarrassing, and I won’t be dangling a pocket watch… I don’t even own one.

    In hypnotherapy, the hypnosis we use is relaxation-based. Picture this: your brain enters a trance-like state, similar to when you're driving your usual route or engrossed in a good book or TV show. It's a perfectly safe experience, and you remain fully aware of your surroundings throughout. At most, you might nod off!

    Now, let's talk about trance. It's pretty powerful. It's when your conscious and subconscious mind align, allowing you access to the whopping 95% of your mind that typically takes the reins in your day-to-day life. (Isn't it wild that only 5% of our brain is devoted to conscious thought?) This aspect of our practice enables your subconscious to zero in on the changes you want to make to reach your goals.

  • Online hypnotherapy is just as effective as the traditional face-to-face approach. In fact, many clients have told me how much easier it is to work with me, due to them not having to travel for sessions. You can attend sessions from the comfort of your own home, a great benefit if you’re feeling too unwell to leave the house, or if the thought of meeting a stranger in person is too daunting. Being in your own space during sessions is proven to help you feel safe and to be more open whilst we work together.

    Though I promise we won’t feel like strangers for long! In short, due to the power of technology, I can be wherever you are! This also means I am able to work with clients across Europe and beyond (timezones permitting).

Tailored to you, these online sessions blend positive future focused talking therapy and exercises, igniting those embers of self-belief, with hypnosis to relax your mind and alleviate stress and anxiety.

Join our online group sessions, where we blend guided mindfulness exercises and hypnosis to help you focus on the positives in your life and set intentions, relax your mind and alleviate stress and anxiety. Experience some of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, at a reduced rate. Minimum of 4 people (maximum 6) required for scheduling.
